Risk Assessments are the 'R' in RUSTI, and a summary of the kind of issues to be aware of and what actions to take in order to reduce the likelihood and effect of any harm to people.
A Risk Assessment is a common-sense list of issues that will affect your activity that you need to be aware of. There will be a potential hazard to be aware of, and then a risk associated to it. The likelihood and severity of these are then stated as low, medium, or high, followed by action to take in order to reduce these.
Our standard Risk Assessment template is below, with completed ones in each scenario. These may be unique to your activity, or more generic as below, for example needing to take account of the general Rock Centre ones for general users of the building.
For special one-off events and activities, separate Risk Assessments will be issued.
